Grosjean will wear special helmet during IndyCar test
- GPblog.com
For the last Formula 1 Grand Prix of his career, Romain Grosjean had a unique helmet design. A design made by his children. Of course a nice way to say goodbye to the sport, but we all know that it turned out totally different. Grosjean did not drive with that helmet, but he certainly did not put it away either.
Test and first race
The helmet in question, pictured below, will now be used by Grosjean for his first IndyCar test. He announced this today at the press conference, where he also announced that he will be driving for Dale Coyne Racing. Maybe he will also use this helmet for the first race, because it means a lot to him.
A change will have to be made though, because at the moment the Haas logo is still on the helmet. That will have to be changed to the Dale Coyne Racing logos, of course, but we are sure that will work out. Anyway, chances are that Grosjean will make his first metres in the IndyCar with this helmet.
Grosjean will use the helmet his kids designed for his final #F1 race at his first #IndyCar test 'and maybe the first race as well, as it means a lot to me'.
