Drive to Survive: When can we expect from series three?
- GPblog.com
The third season of Drive to Survive is coming up. The compelling Netflix series about the previous F1 season is about to begin its third edition. The time of its official debut has not yet been announced, but judging by previous seasons, mid-March would be a realistic time.
When will Drive to Survive 3 arrive?
Despite the atypical 2020 season, Netflix still managed to film during the races and a third part of Drive to Survive awaits F1 fans. The great success of the first two parts leaves people eagerly awaiting the look back at 2020.
No launch date has yet been announced, nor has a trailer been released. The second part, which looked back at the 2019 season, came out with a trailer on 17 February last year. Eleven days later on the 28th, the series came online. That was two weeks before the scheduled start of the season.
Norris calls mid-March
Due to the cancellation of the Australia GP, Drive to Survive could appear a little later this year. McLaren driver Lando Norris talked about it on his Twitch channel and expected the series to be seen in March. 14 March, two weeks before the first race of the season in Bahrain is therefore an option.
There is a good chance that the series will appear on the streaming platform in one go, like previous editions. There no longer seems to be time for a weekly episode of the usually ten episode series.
