For the first time in history, there will be a budget cap. This means that the teams are bound by a budget. They are not allowed to go over it. Lawrence Stroll, owner of Aston Martin, sees a big change with this introduction.

Aston Martin appears on the grid again this year for the first time in 61 years. Stroll previously called it "the biggest thing to happen to the sport in decades." The introduction of the budget cap also changes a lot Stroll tells PA news agency. "From the point of view of the competition, the budget ceiling changes the sport drastically," he said.

"The three big teams spent a lot more than everyone else and probably had 400-500 more staff. That's all gone now.", continued the father of driver Lance Stroll.

World Championship realistic

Stroll also commented on Aston Martin's title aspirations. Something he believes is not impossible. "This team has outperformed itself with significantly fewer resources, and I sincerely believe that with the same amount of people and the same budget, there is no reason why world championships are not on the horizon. It is very realistic to think that."
