No full throttle for Verstappen just yet: 'We'll wait with it until Q3'

Max Verstappen has taken full responsibility for the first test day for Red Bull Racing. The Dutchman ended the day as the fastest and drove the most laps of all the drivers.
Satisfaction for the Dutchman
Verstappen can speak of a good first day in Bahrain. The Dutchman is therefore satisfied at the end of Friday. "We had a very positive day. We were able to do a lot of laps despite the track conditions not being too good. It was very hot, a lot of wind and the tyre wear is very high here. Therefore, it is not easy to do many laps in a row. I am very happy with this day", the Dutchman is quoted by Verstappen.com.
According to Verstappen, it is harder to drive because of the heat. He also had to change his visor because of the amount of dust today. The real speed will only be shown during the first qualifying session of the season. "In terms of speed, we want to wait until Q3 of the first Grand Prix. There you will see the real speed of all the cars," Verstappen concluded.
Saturday is for Perez
Tomorrow Sergio Perez will drive a full day in the RB16B. Verstappen will be back in the car at the end of the test on Sunday afternoon.
