Mercedes not written off immediately: "They will certainly strike back"

Red Bull Racing and Mercedes were already the teams calling the shots in Formula 1 in 2020, and it will most likely be the same again in 2021. Sebastian Vettel has high hopes for both teams.
The winter test in Bahrain is over and that means it's time to speculate about the start of the season. Which teams are in a good position, which teams barely showed up and who failed? Mercedes was one of the teams that disappointed in Bahrain, but will that also have consequences for the season?
Mercedes versus Red Bull Racing
''It's fair to conclude that Mercedes haven't got that amazing mileage, it's different from the past few years. But I'm sure everything will be fine at the first race, they will definitely bounce back'', Vettel says to Motorsport.com.
The German believes Mercedes will return to the top of the grid, but will be joined there by his old team. Red Bull Racing had a strong winter test, and is seen by many as the favourite. ''At Red Bull they are actually doing what they need to do: Challenge Mercedes. It will be between Mercedes and Red Bull this year'', concludes the Aston Martin driver.
