Confidence in Hamilton high: 'Better package than ever before'

Lewis Hamilton has seven world titles under his belt, but is still not tired of Formula 1. Whereas in the past he only came there for the victories, nowadays the Briton drives for more in the sport.
Hamilton made a huge impression as a 'Rookie' in 2007 by almost winning the world title and attacking Fernando Alonso within McLaren. In 2008, the Briton continued this streak with his first world title, and at Mercedes, a further six titles would be added to the total since 2014.
Hamilton better than ever
''In the past, I was only interested in winning titles,'' Hamilton said in this regard, according to Motorsport-total.com. However, these days the Mercedes driver uses his place in the sport for more than his own glory. He is committed to the fight against racism and also the environment is an important issue for the Brit.
According to Alexander Wurz, none of this makes Hamilton weaker, but rather a complete driver. ''He is still young enough to win a lot of world titles. I would really dare to say that he is now a 'better package' than ever before,'' states the president of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association.
