Silverstone thanks key workers with free Formula 1 tickets
- GPblog.com
Care workers and other essential professions will be thanked in a fitting way during the 2021 Formula One season. Silverstone is giving them free tickets to the race that will be held there.
The British circuit announced this via a tweet. All 'key workers' are called upon, as there are thousands of free tickets to be given away. The giveaway is in collaboration with Blue Light card and as with all promotions, gone is gone.

Silverstone first circuit to do so
Silverstone is the first circuit to launch a 'thank you' campaign for the people who play a key role in the coronavirus pandemic. In principle, it is logical that such an action is set up, since, for example, care workers in the United Kingdom are already vaccinated against the virus and, as far as is known, no public is allowed to be present at the race. It is not known whether other circuits are also setting up such an action.
