For the third year in a row, Netflix have released the Drive to Survive series. The series follows the Formula One teams closely, and as in previous years, the crew at Netflix manages to get some powerful highlights on screen. Here are the all-important ones.

Chatting to Stroll senior

Racing Point was a team that was much talked about in 2020 because of the copied car the team drove. Already in the first episode, the team is featured and the viewer is taken behind the scenes at the team's factory. The construction of the car itself is not shown, but it is interesting to see how a meeting with Lawrence Stroll goes. The excitement of the other staff members is visible on their faces.

Not so Forza Ferrari

For Ferrari, 2020 was a turbulent year. Perhaps the team's most dramatic Grand Prix was the Italian one at Monza. And of course, that was the race where Netflix followed Ferrari. The frustration between Ferrari and Vettel is clearly displayed. Charles Leclerc speaks briefly with Fred Vasseur of Alfa Romeo and keeps indicating that he can't say everything because of the microphones. It should be clear that he has not expressed all his dissatisfaction in the series. It is one of the best episodes of the entire series.

The bizarre victory of Gasly

Pierre Gasly was already a star in the second season of Drive to Survive after he was transferred back from Red Bull Racing to Toro Rosso only to finish second in the Brazilian GP. In Season 3, he stepped up his game. The Frenchman won his very first Grand Prix in a sensational Italian Grand Prix. A real comeback-king.

Grosjean's mega crash

Of course, it could not be missed. The crash of Romain Grosjean. Just like in the real race, the episode makes your heart stop for a moment. The series manages to show it in a great way. Not only the reactions at Haas F1 but also those of other teams and drivers are included.

Of course, these are not all the highlights, because the series is full of beautiful moments. We see the battle for third place in the Constructors' category and of course, the whole performance of Guenther Steiner is a big highlight. Driver changes are also covered extensively in the third season of Drive to Survive.
