Verstappen forced to make a comeback again in BMW SIM GT Cup

The third round of the BMW SIM GT Cup, in which Max Verstappen also competed in his last free weekend before the F1 season, was won by Dutch sim racer Mitchell de Jong. Verstappen was forced to play catch-up after a collision in the early stages.
The Red Bull Racing driver started the race at Silverstone from fourth position and maintained that position throughout the opening stages. That is, until Ayhancan Guven, a Turkish driver who competes in the Porsche Supercup in the real world, was too late to overtake in the hairpin and Verstappen was thrown off the track.
Excitement to the finish
The same happened two weeks ago on the Suzuka circuit, so the Dutchman had to start another race to catch up. He brought the number 33 of Team Redline into the top ten during his stint, after which team mate Gianni Vecchio took over the wheel.
The professional sim racer then finished off the race coolly by taking eighth place in the very last lap. The victory went to Dutchman Mitchell de Jong, who pocketed 1200 dollars.
