Ricciardo: "My laps weren't great yet"

McLaren are looking strong so far, both in the winter test and in the first two free practice sessions. Drivers Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo however still see room for improvement. Ricciardo, who ended Friday's session in sixth place, is not entirely satisfied with the result.
Ricciardo needs to be patient
"My laps weren't quite great yet," Ricciardo told Sky Deutschland after the second practice session. "At the same time, it is also encouraging to have finished the day in second and sixth place, but there is still work to be done."
At the same time, Ricciardo also knows that he has to be patient at his new team. "Of course you want everything right away on the first day of the first weekend," Ricciardo continued. "But as the season progresses, the more I can work with the team and understand the car, and then things will automatically improve."
