Concerns for Vettel: ''It's horrible to see''

Sebastian Vettel has had a terrible start at Aston Martin. After a winter test in which he drove the fewest laps of anyone, he had to start from behind in Bahrain and crashed with Esteban Ocon.
Vettel as a piñata
Sebastian Vettel is the new driver for Aston Martin in 2021, where he hopes to regain his old form from his time with Red Bull Racing. That confidence isn't there yet though, as in his first weekend for Aston Martin he qualified P18, had to start from the back due to a penalty, crashed into Ocon through his own mistake and finished well outside the points.
''I am worried about Sebastian and have been for some time. He will be so dejected after this weekend because this just couldn't go any worse than this. I want him to come back and be positive, but it just seems to be getting more negative now,'' said Damon Hill in the F1 Nation Podcast. The former world champion can't stand it, then.
Pressure on Vettel
''It's a bit like watching that Mexican game with a piñata. He's constantly getting hit. Everything that can happen, actually happens to him. It's horrible to watch.''
However, Hill does not have the faith that Vettel can turn this around himself. ''If you don't have the feeling and go in half way, that's just not possible. He's worried about all the negative attention, and that just makes him less so himself. If he could turn it around then I'm sure he still has the qualities to compete up front with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen,'' Hill concludes.
