Williams family not out of the picture yet with new CEO: 'Have good contact'

Williams changed direction last year with the arrival of Dorilton Capital and the departure of Claire and Frank Williams. However, the Williams name is still visible in Formula 1, and their legacy has not completely disappeared.
The Italian Grand Prix was the last Grand Prix where Claire and Frank were present at the circuit. Since then, Simon Roberts has taken over as team principal and Jost Capito is the new CEO of Williams. Capito doesn't completely change tack however, because the family feeling is still an important part of the team.

''I was really happy to hear that from everyone, because that's my management style. You have to operate as a family. That doesn't mean only fun times. We all have families and not every day is fun. But it does mean a very strong bond: you do everything for your family,'' Capito said to Motorsport.com.
Claire and Patrick Head are also still part of that family. The former team boss and technical director are still part of the family, according to Capito. ''I have contact with both of them. With Claire and with Patrick. I have known Claire for a few years now and Patrick for a long time. It's not like I'm trying to get background information from them about this or that. We talk about things that I want to know, that I need to know. I have a very good relationship with both of them,'' the German concluded.
