This is what time the Grand Prix at Portimao starts!
- GPblog.com
With the differences between the teams small, the Grand Prix at Portimao looks set to be another exciting battle between Mercedes and Red Bull Racing. And for the midfield, there seems to be a new favourite every race. So don't forget to tune in on Sunday for the Portuguese GP.
After a dramatic race for Valtteri Bottas in Imola, the Finn finally secured pole position again in Portugal, his first of 2021. The driver of Mercedes will however not have an easy time on Sunday. Besides Bottas, Lewis Hamilton is on the first row of the grid and right behind him Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
The Portimao circuit is also proving to be treacherous this weekend, with many weather changes, especially when it comes to the wind. It's easy to make a mistake with the height difference and the wind that can suddenly appear. This season has also shown that the difference between the top teams and the midfield is minimal, so mistakes can be punished severely.
