Max Verstappen has every reason to be satisfied after qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix. The Dutchman can start from the first row of the grid, one spot behind big rival Lewis Hamilton.
"Yeah it was good. I struggled a bit in Q1 but I think we sorted out the balance for Q2 which was pretty good, and then Q3 for me all the laps were pretty decent. I think only the second run was a little worse. It a bit gusty around here so the wind changes a lot but nevertheless second for us here on this track was very good today. I know they are very hard to beat around here and to be that close I can be happy with that," the Dutchman said after qualifying.

"It's a long run to turn 1, but first you need to make sure you have a good start and it seems like the pace is there. So, of course, I hope that we can have a good race as well," continued the Red Bull Racing driver.
"Yeah around here with all the fast corners and tyre overheating tyre management is very important and we need to make sure we are on top of it," Verstappen said.
