Hamilton doesn't think Verstappen is more aggressive: 'That's where we lost performance'.

Lewis Hamilton has secured his third win in 2021, but must fight harder than ever for it this year. In front of the Ziggo Sport camera Lewis Hamilton explains how he has raised his level again.
Are we now seeing the best Lewis ever, asks Rick Winkelman after the race. ''Yes'', is the answer short and sweet. ''At the end of last year we knew we had to start stronger at the beginning of this year. We had to raise our level to be able to compete with Red Bull. We do that as a team, but I also have to get the best out of myself every weekend.''
Hamilton even better than ever
Max Verstappen is the big challenger to Hamilton. The Dutchman passed Hamilton at the start, but the Briton doesn't think Verstappen is more aggressive at the start. ' 'They are a bit stronger at the start, that's where we lost performance and need to work on it,'' Hamilton said of his start.
''Max was in my blind spot, so I couldn't see him. I didn't know where he was. If I had turned in he would have hit me, so I had to give him a lot of space. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon, so I was fine with it, but knew the rest of the race would be more challenging'', Hamilton concludes.
