Calendar 2021: What changes after the cancellation of the Turkish GP?
- GPblog.com
For the second time in 2021, the race weekend from 11 to 13 June will not go ahead as planned. Turkey has asked for the race to be postponed, resulting in some changes to the calendar.
France moves up
The next two Grands Prix of Monaco and Azerbaijan will remain the same, but with Turkey dropping out, France will be moved forward a week. France will be part of a new triple header as we saw regularly in 2020.
With France being moved up a week, a new spot has become available in the weekend of June 25-27. In that weekend The Styrian Grand Prix will be held in Spielberg. One week later a second race will be held on the Red Bull Ring, as planned the Austrian Grand Prix.
