Several drivers have alternative helmet design in Monaco
- GPblog.com
The Monaco Grand Prix is always a special event. The race itself is unique because of the narrow track in the miniature state, but also the atmosphere around it and the challenge it brings to drivers count. As a result, teams often come to Monaco with a different approach to the race. Although it is a permanent fixture on the calendar, each time it feels special.
Many design changes
It is known that McLaren will drive with a different livery during this Grand Prix. The two drivers of this team, Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo will follow suit and will be seen in the cars with an alternative helmet design. They are not the only drivers who deviate with their helmet from their usual design. Charles Leclerc is also participating, with his helmet being a tribute to Louis Chiron. The first and only Monegasque to win a Grand Prix in the country, in 1931.
For the Williams team, the upcoming Grand Prix is a milestone. During the race in Monaco, they will compete for the 750th time at the highest level of motorsport. Therefore George Russell and Nicolas Latifi also drive around with an alternative design of their helmet. Below the new designs are listed and if more follow, we will update this post.
