Verstappen frustrated: "I don't like it like this at all"

Somewhere between the first and second free practice sessions something went wrong at Red Bull Racing. In the first session, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez were doing well, but in the second session, the two drivers fell short.
Ferrari strong in Monaco
In front of Sky Sports cameras, Verstappen was already talking about Ferrari's sudden speed in Monaco. "I'm just surprised how competitive Ferrari is. I think it just shows that we are quite weak." The Dutchman fell almost four tenths short of Charles Leclerc's fastest time in the second free practice session.
Toughest weekend for Red Bull
In terms of lap times, Verstappen was therefore not well off, but also the car itself did not feel good according to the Dutchman. "It just wasn't nice to drive", he told Motorsport-Magazin.com. "Normally I feel quite comfortable in the car and get up to speed easily, but this time it takes too long and so I don't like it at all."
Never before this season has Verstappen been so far behind on the fastest times. The number two in the championship agrees. "This is our most difficult weekend so far." The plus side is that also Lewis Hamilton could not follow the pace of Ferrari. Verstappen only had to concede seven thousandths to his title rival.
