Webber confident Verstappen could've had a big lead in the championship

Red Bull Racing is in great form. The team leads the championship for the first time in years and has now won races with both drivers. In the Talking Bull podcast, former Red Bull drivers David Coulthard and Mark Webber talk about Red Bull's season so far.
"What looked like another great win for Max ended so suddenly with that blowout. You go from a high point straight to a low point. But with Sergio's win and Lewis' zero score, the outcome for the championship was pretty neutral in the end," Coulthard began. "But it is the first time in a long time that Red Bull leads the championship."
Advantage Verstappen could have been even bigger
Webber adds that Verstappen could have had an even bigger lead over Lewis Hamilton. "He lost a lot of points in Baku. He was ten points ahead of Lewis with a few laps to go. I'm sure Max can do it, and Sergio is getting better and better while Valtteri is working on what his future looks like. That all plays into Red Bull's hands," said the Australian driver.
Coulthard highlights how well Sergio Perez has adapted to Red Bull Racing with Max Verstappen as his teammate. "Even beyond his win, you have to recognise how well he has adapted to the Max factor and changing teams," said the 50-year-old Scot.
