Hamilton: 'Definitely didn't make a mistake under pressure from Verstappen'

Lewis Hamilton seemed to benefit from the loss of his rival Max Verstappen during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. However, the Englishman made a crucial mistake on the restart, which saw him finish outside the points.
In recent weeks, it was constantly about Mercedes' 'magic-button', which caused Hamilton's mistake. As he unintentionally pressed the button, he was unable to properly engage the first corner and shot straight on. It gave Sergio Pérez the ideal opportunity to take his first Grand Prix win for Red Bull Racing.
Hamilton is convinced his mistake was not because of the competition with Verstappen. "I definitely didn't make a mistake under the pressure of Max," he told Motorsport.com. "What I did in Baku I don't even consider a mistake. I honestly don't know what the previous one was, but I don't feel any pressure."
Mercedes covers up button for Hamilton
Mercedes is taking precautions in the coming races to ensure the incident does not happen again. "We have not moved the button. We've only covered it to make sure that what happened in Baku doesn't happen again, to prevent me from touching it by accident again."
