After another lacklustre weekend for defending champion Mercedes, the German outfit are now looking ahead to two consecutive Grands Prix at the Red Bull Ring. Toto Wolff says he is battle-ready and determined to turn the momentum back in his team's favour during these weekends, but not before guiltily endorsing the dramatic weekend in France.

"We've debriefed France and understand the areas where we have the opportunity to improve", the Mercedes team boss began in a preview of the official website of Mercedes. "Now it's all about focusing on bringing those improvements to the next two rounds in Austria."

Wolff continued: "Hopefully we can swing the positive momentum back in our favour. ...I can see the determination in every member of the team."

Small margins, maximum attack

Wolff argues that the short distance of the Red Bull Ring will create even smaller margins between the two title competitors. Because of this, Wolff knows, whoever wants to win will have to put maximum effort into the attack and costly time gains. "Austria has been a tricky circuit for us in past seasons, but we went well there last year. We know the situation is very different this season. It's a very quick lap and a short circuit, with fewer opportunities to gain time. The margins are going to be tight, so we'll give it maximum attack!"
