Honda hopes to maintain momentum with Red Bull with additional data

Red Bull Racing and Honda took their tenth win together in Formula 1 last Sunday. Max Verstappen won the Grand Prix of Styria, and Honda is looking forward to the second race at the Red Bull Ring.
The Austrian Grand Prix is coming up this weekend, and that means the drivers will be in action at the same circuit for the second time in a row. This makes things easier for the drivers of course, but also for the teams and suppliers. Honda now knows exactly what to expect from the second race.
Extra pressure for Honda
''Last time, Max’s strong performance delivered Honda’s fourth consecutive win of the season and in fact all four Honda-powered cars performed well. We want to keep that momentum going and there is maybe a little bit of added pressure from racing at Red Bull’s home track once again,'' said Toyoharu Tanabe in the Honda press release.
''The only technical difference that affects all teams is that the Pirelli tyres are all one step softer and with cooler weather predicted this time, it will be interesting to see what effect this has on tyre strategy. Everyone now has plenty of data from last week to improve their performance and we too hope that we can have another good race with both our teams'', concludes the Honda chief.
