Verstappen easy: "If they don't want to, then we'll stop"

Max Verstappen was supreme at the Steiermark Grand Prix last weekend. A week later he can try again on the same circuit, where he hopes to increase the lead on Mercedes.
Prior to the weekend in Austria, the Dutchman was already well ahead of Hamilton and only increased his lead in the championship. Verstappen started from pole position last Sunday and had no problems with Mercedes, which still managed to secure second and third place.
As he crossed the finish line, Verstappen put some rubber on the track, which Michael Masi was not too happy about. Verstappen himself heard nothing about the moment, but has no qualms about not doing it during his next win. "I hadn't read it until I was on the plane, so I didn't hear anything about it myself. If they don't want to, then we'll stop. It's very simple", he says in conversation with Ziggo Sport.
Standings in world championship
Verstappen is currently 18 points ahead of Hamilton in the world championship. Where the Dutchman is on 156 points, Hamilton achieved 138 points so far. Sergio Pérez is far behind with 96 points.
