Horner delighted: 'Great to be in front of both Mercedes cars!'

Red Bull Racing already dominated last week at their home track and on Saturday afternoon for the Austrian Grand Prix the result is even better for the home team. Christian Horner is delighted with the result after qualifying.
Max Verstappen has taken pole position again on the Red Bull Ring and has now even strung together three. Yet the Dutchman was not satisfied with his performance in Q3. "With Max, he is always looking for that little bit more and I think he felt there was a little bit more in the car today. He had a slight lock-up on the first run and we wanted to give him clean air for the second run and that gave Lando a slight tow," Christian Horner explained to Sky Sports F1's camera.
Unlike Max Verstappen, however, the Red Bull Racing team boss is overjoyed with the result. "To have him and Checo ahead of both Mercedes are great."
New competitor on the Red Bull Ring
The biggest competitor this weekend doesn't seem to be the Silver Arrows either, but rather McLaren. "It was mighty close with the McLaren. That McLaren... any comments about the Mercedes engine. It certainly goes well at the back of the McLaren because they are ballistic on straight-line speed. They are going to be a factor," Horner concluded.
