Perez sees Brazil as Verstappen's home race: "You have a lot of home races"

This year fans of Max Verstappen can see their hero in action for the first time at the Dutch Grand Prix. However, the Zandvoort circuit is not the only one that can be considered a home race for the Red Bull Racing driver.
In the Talking Bull-podcast, teammate Sergio Perez asks Verstappen if and when he will drive with a specially designed helmet, as he did in Austria. "There are a few helmets coming. Like always at Spa of course, and then of course I have my home race at Zandvoort. Maybe also in Brazil if everything goes according to plan," replied the Dutchman.
Verstappen has more than one home race
"Yes, you have Brazil as your home race," Pérez says, referring to Verstappen's immense popularity in the South American country. "And Austria. You have a lot of home races", the Mexican concludes laughing. "Yes, it's getting bigger and bigger," says Verstappen, who now has his own grandstand at four circuits.
Another question for Verstappen is what he has learned from his new teammate since joining Red Bull Racing. "I like the fact that we can push each other and still have a good and fun relationship with each other," replies the 23-year-old from Limburg. "Not everyone is like that, some drivers take it too seriously. You enjoy life and Formula 1 and find a good balance in that, I can learn from that. Some drivers take home what happens on the track, it shouldn't be like that," Verstappen said.
