This weekend the British Grand Prix is scheduled. At Silverstone, the exciting battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton will continue. This will happen during a weekend where there will be a lot of testing and where changes will dominate.

Jenson Button said in an interview to promote his' new collaboration with Readly and Motor Sport magazine' that Mercedes normally perform better at this circuit.

"I think Silverstone is a circuit that suits Lewis' car better than the last two races. The car likes more open circuits and fast corners, which used to be the Red Bull's strength. But we really don't know; the cars may have had updates. Besides, you never know with the UK in July. It's summer, but it could be raining. In short: we don't know who will win this year." He then makes a prediction anyway.

"Normally you say: it's going to be Lewis, he's going to beat Valtteri, but now he has competition from Max. It's a tough one. I think it will be a battle between Lewis and Max and then a third place for the Red Bull of Checo Perez, he won the last race and he has always gone well at the races at Silverstone."

Red Bull can become constructors' champion according to Button

Indeed, according to Button, they are already well on their way to achieving this and it doesn't look like they are going to be much slower this year.

"I think Red Bull might be able to win the constructors' championship this year. It's good to see Red Bull competing for the constructors' and drivers' championships, because usually with them it's their second driver who doesn't score points. Checo is doing very well though. I think it's great to see that."
