The weekend at Silverstone is a big test for teams, drivers and Formula 1 itself. The first free practice session was the only one where setup changes were allowed, but Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner says it was a good session.
Qualifying on Friday is after just one free practice session. It will take some getting used to for everyone in the paddock, but Horner is happy with the session Red Bull have behind them. The team is ready for qualifying.
Horner happy with FP1
"It was a good session for us, I think the drivers feeling the way into the circuit and they worked on the setup. It's the only session where we can change the car. It was a good session, we'll see in qualifying later today," Horner informed Ziggo Sport.
For sprint qualifying, there will be three points for the winner on Saturday. And Horner says Red Bull will be going full out for those three points. "The big points are on the Sunday. There are three points to be won tomorrow. It's a mather of the process of going through each of the segments. You want every point."
