Charles Leclerc did some good business in the sprint qualifying at Silverstone. He just missed out on a point, but will start from the second row of the grid in Sunday's race. With a good start, he even sees a chance of a podium.

Leclerc enjoyed good pace during the sprint race

"Short race but even though it was quite a lonely race," he told Sky Sports. "I enjoyed pushing for 17 laps flat out. It's different, and I really enjoyed it.'

The Monegasque goes on to say that he is looking forward to the race and even thinks he has a chance of a podium finish. "I am looking forward to tomorrow. I will try to push for a podium for sure. If we don't take the position at the start then it would be difficult to overtake on track. We definitely need to make a position at the start because we are not beating Mercedes and Red Bull. Today, the pace was really, really good," the Ferrari driver said.

"I could stay behind Valtteri all the race more or less at a reasonable distance without him pulling away too much. That is positive for tomorrow," said a highly motivated Leclerc.
