Lewis Hamilton: 'I don't have anything really to say to Christian'
- Toby McLuskie
Lewis Hamilton claimed victory in his home British Grand Prix today but the incident involving him and Max Verstappen has taken precedence over all other events today. Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner has sent shots towards Hamilton for the incident but the Mercedes driver has played these down.
Hamilton not phased by Horner
"I don't have anything really to say to Christian, but it doesn't feel so," Hamilton explained in the post-race press conference when asked about the statement from the Red Bull Team Principal. "There are 2000 people working incredibly hard in my team. It's not just about me. Of course, I've already said that this is not anything that I want to happen in the race."
He went on to further add that he knows the feeling that Red Bull have but it'll be important to review the incident, saying, "I think it's important for all of us to take a step back. I am sure the emotions are running high there and I know what it is like to lose points within a team."
