'Verstappen will be at 200 percent in Hungary'

Fernando Alonso had an excellent race in Britain on Sunday afternoon. The Alpine driver achieved a seventh place finish to stay ahead of his teammate Esteban Ocon who finished ninth.
After the race the paddock talk was mainly about the heavy crash that saw Max Verstappen colliding with the tyre wall. The Dutchman was forced to retire during the first lap, after he and Lewis Hamilton collided. Both drivers were fighting each other from the start, and the seven-time world champion was unable to pass Verstappen, until he lunged down the inside at turn nine, which saw them make contact.
However, Alonso was happy with his own performance after the race, but thought it was most important that things went well for Verstappen. He wrote on Twitter: "Very happy with the performance of today's race and more points for the team. And most importantly, Max is doing well and will be at 200 percent in Hungary."

Alonso nears Vettel
The six points gained puts Alonso in 11th place in the world championship just behind Sebastian Vettel. The German picked up no points at Silverstone, leaving him just four points ahead of Alonso.
