The tensions between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes were not only high on the track after the British Grand Prix. Also next to the track there was a lot of finger pointing and the teams blamed each other for the crash. Helmut Marko says in an interview with RTL Marko says that he expects that Silverstone will not be the last clash.
"It will certainly become even more tense. The relationship has never been relaxed. For the spectators, such things are exciting. But we will behave within the bounds of fair sporting practices." Marko expects Red Bull to simply come out strong again in Hungary.
No panic at Red Bull
"We can't get out of our concept. We know that we have a great package with the car, driver and chassis". Red Bull's top advisor does indicate that Sunday's crash was a blow to the team. "But we are strong enough to take that away".
"We won the sprint with ease at Silverstone and would have also won the main race". Marko is therefore confident for Hungary, a week and a half from now. "There is no reason to panic. We expect it to be close again," Marko said.
