After the races in Austria and England, we can also expect full grandstands in Hungary. The organization of the Grand Prix has announced that under strict conditions the public is allowed this weekend.

Grandstands reopened

This coming weekend, the Hungaroring will open the grandstands for the first time since 2019, reports SoyMotor.com. Austria allowed fans earlier this season and last week it was Silverstone that opened to the public for the first time at full capacity. Some 140,000 fans were present there on Sunday.

However, the Hungaroring doesn't expect to reach these kinds of numbers. Moreover, fans are only allowed to visit the circuit under strict conditions. Hungarian visitors have to show an immunity card or a European digital certificate and international visitors have to be in possession of a negative PCR test or an immunity certificate. The organization of the Grand Prix wants the event to be as safe as possible this way. This year there will be no pit walk and the fans are not allowed on the circuit after the race.
