Haas are not having their best season in Formula 1. Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin are still at the back of the grid, but Guenther Steiner expects the drivers to improve quickly.

The team boss says on the official Haas website that the drivers are finding out how difficult it is to drive in Formula One. "It doesn’t compare with anything else in racing and that’s why it’s the pinnacle of motorsport. That’s the personal side. On the driving side, you learn that you’re racing with the best people in the world. I think they’re making good progress but I’m sure there is more to come from them."

Sprint races at Silverstone

Steiner was also positive about the sprint races that the Formula 1 teams ran at Silverstone. "The weekend was very good for Formula 1. We did sprint qualifying which was new so there was a lot of excitement about that, a lot of spectators back at the race track and a very interesting race in general. It’s just unfortunate that we can’t take part in the race at the moment but we will get there."

Mazepin and Schumacher are not the only two drivers who have yet to score points. Nicholas Latifi and George Russell are also on zero points in the world championship.
