Mick Schumacher was, not for the first time this season, in the wall during the third free practice. It caused some dissatisfaction with Günther Steiner, but he was criticised by Ralf Schumacher. He thinks Steiner should never have done that.

As in Monaco, Schumacher was unable to drive the qualifying due to a broken car. Again the young German made a mistake, and that could count on a reaction from Steiner. In front of the camera, he let it be known that he was irritated. Mick has had several incidents and this has to stop.

Irritation at Haas

Uncle Ralf, however, is not amused by this. ''I'm surprised at what Steiner is doing. He says he hasn't even spoken to Mick yet but is already going to the media and criticising his driver, who has already apologised. That's all you can do. So I am very disappointed with this behaviour. What is he doing as team boss, you don't talk about that in public either,'' Ralf told Sky Germany.

Steiner himself, however, has little to do with Ralf's words and continues to do things his way. ''I do things the way I want to do them. I don't ask Ralf how I should do my job. I just said it was too much. Nobody needs that many crashes. However, I run my team the way I want to. If you are not honest with yourself or your drivers, then you will never be successful,'' the Haas team boss concluded to F1-Insider.com.
