Results FP2 Formula E | De Vries third, Frijns fourth
- GPblog.com
Formula E is preparing for the denouement of the world championship. Both Nyck de Vries and Robin Frijns have a chance of winning the world title, so it was exciting to see what the Dutch could show in the second free practice session.
Frijns set the fourth fastest time of the practice session ten minutes before the end of the session with a time of 1:06:625. At first he was faster than Nyck de Vries, but just before the end of the practice, his fellow countryman improved his time. Both men were not the fastest of the practice, because they had to give that honour to Jake Dennis.
The driver is together with Sam Bird in third position in the world championship. Bird also did well during the free practice in Berlin. The Englishman had to settle for twelfth in Germany.

Battle for the World Championship
De Vries is currently six points ahead of the rest, meaning Frijns will have to work hard to beat his countryman this weekend. Moreover the difference between Frijns and his pursuers Bird and Dennis is eight points, which means he can't make any mistakes himself.
