Drive to Survive returns with a fourth season on Netflix

Formula One has announced that Drive to Survive will be getting a fourth season. The series on Netflix has been filming behind the scenes of F1 for the past three seasons and will do so again for this one.
Drive to Survive was first launched after the conclusion of the 2018 Formula One season. That year, a film crew from Netflix gained access behind the scenes of F1 to show more. In the first year where Mercedes and Ferrari didn't allow access to their garages, we got some great insight into the smaller teams. Günther Steiner in particular played a starring role as the team boss of Haas.
Drive to Survive returns
The first season of Drive to Survive was a huge success, so a sequel followed. New stories were set up, but also existing storylines from the first year continued. Daniel Ricciardo is an important protagonist in the series, and we also saw a lot behind the scenes of Carlos Sainz.
Still, in recent seasons there has been more and more criticism on the series. Sometimes images are taken out of context to get the story right, and sometimes storylines are 'made up.' In the last season, an entire episode was dedicated to the rivalry between Sainz and Lando Norris, while nobody really had the feeling that this rivalry was real.
