'Win at Zandvoort this weekend between Hamilton and Verstappen'
- GPblog.com
For the Dutch Formula 1 fans, this might be the best season ever in the history of the sport. Not only do we have a Dutch contender for the world title for the first time, but there is also a Grand Prix on Dutch soil for the first time in 36 years. If Max Verstappen wins now, the party will be complete.
Hamilton and Verstappen likely to win
At the various betting agencies, they agree that Max Verstappen is the best candidate to take the win at Zandvoort, but Lewis Hamilton is given almost the same odds. Unibet gives Verstappen a rating of 2.00 and Hamilton 2.20. Further behind according to Valtteri Bottas (17.00) and Sergio Perez (19.00).
At TOTO it's even closer together. Verstappen is rated 2.08 and Hamilton 2.09. Here too, the teammates of the two title rivals follow at a suitable distance with Bottas at 16.75 and Perez at 17.00. Finally, at Betway, the odds are completely even for Verstappen and Hamilton. Both championship contenders have a quote of 2.10 here.
After Verstappen's win in the rained out Belgian Grand Prix, the Red Bull driver is only three points behind Hamilton in the championship standings. A victory at Zandvoort would therefore mean that the Dutchman would once again take the lead in the battle for the title.
