F1 releases statement after Belgium GP: 'We are working on different options'.

For many people the Belgian Grand Prix last Sunday was nothing more than a sham to meet the commercial obligations. Behind the safety car, only two laps were completed after which Max Verstappen was declared the winner.
Working on different options
After the race, Lewis Hamilton was one of the first to call for compensation for the fans present. The British Mercedes driver thought that the Belgian fans should get their money back. On Wednesday, Formula 1 issued a statement to the Belgian fans saying that they were looking into possible compensation.
"Following the impact of the weather on the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, August 29, Formula 1 and the promoter are working on different options for the ticket holders, to express our recognition and thanks to them for their dedication and commitment," the statement read on Twitter. "We will provide more details as soon as possible as we want to thank the fans for their continued support and passion for Formula One."
