Arrow Electronics has renewed its contract with McLaren, both in Formula One and the IndyCar Series. The technology giant will continue to assist the McLaren teams as a sponsor and partner in the coming years.
The two parties jointly announced this on Sunday. Arrow Electronics will continue as title sponsor of Arrow McLaren SP in the IndyCar class and as a partner of the McLaren Formula One team.
Major step for McLaren in Formula 1 and IndyCar
For Zak Brown, it is an important step towards greater success in both racing classes and sees the company as a valuable partner to the team. "This long-term partnership reflects how strong our relationship has been since the start of our partnership in 2019," said the McLaren CEO on the official website.
The news comes not long after the announcement that McLaren has acquired a majority stake in the IndyCar team. "With our recent investment in Arrow McLaren SP and Arrow's close involvement in the team since 2015, our partnership has only grown stronger," concludes Brown.
We are pleased to announce a long-term multi-year partnership extension with @ArrowGlobal.
