Verstappen makes great impression: 'Max doesn't let himself get off balance'

Max Verstappen has seven races left to capture the world title. Franz Tost is following the championship battle with extra interest and hopes that the Dutchman will walk away with the main prize at the end of the season.
The AlphaTauri team boss experienced Verstappen in his first years in Formula 1. At the time, the Red Bull driver was known as a great talent, but had yet to live up to it. Tost sees that Verstappen has already done so and uses the Dutch GP as an example.
"When you can dominate like that in front of the frenzied fans in your own country with all the pressure and expectations, you have nothing to fear," he told Sport1. "That impressed me a lot. Max doesn't let himself get off balance. He concentrates from race to race. He wants to win every race. If there is a collision to avoid, he will do it. If not, he won't do it. Then it crashes."
Tost hopes for Verstappen
Tost then expresses a clear preference for the championship battle. "There will be exciting race scenes to come. And as for me: I would be happy if Max eventually wins the title."
