Mercedes and Stroll steal the show on Twitter during global Facebook outage
- GPblog.com
On Monday, there was a global outage at Facebook, which caused Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to go down. Formula 1 teams generally use Twitter, so there was a bit of a chuckle about the other platforms.
On Tuesday morning the malfunction was solved again, but on Monday there was a worldwide malfunction at Facebook. The cause is not yet known, but the failure caused the three largest media platforms to come to a standstill. Twitter was still working and that caused hilarity among the F1 teams and drivers.
