Verstappen looks to Hamilton: 'Hopefully we can have nice fights'

Max Verstappen came through the Grands Prix of Italy and Russia remarkably well. While the Dutchman had an accident in Italy with Lewis Hamilton, he finished second in the latter race. The Red Bull Racing driver is confident in the fight for the world title.
The world championship number two is very much looking forward to starting the Turkey GP. While it will be difficult to judge which team has the best chance of winning this weekend, Verstappen expects the races in Mexico and Brazil to be in Red Bull's favour.
"Those have always been good matches for us," he says in conversation with Motorsport.com. "I hope to do so again this year, although of course there are no guarantees. You can go to a race weekend where you have won in previous years, but you still have to find a good balance in the car and every year the car is a bit different. On paper, those circuits look good for us, but we still have to live up to that."
Verstappen sees excitement in a world championship
However, it does not mean that Verstappen is already counting himself rich for the world title, as the Dutch driver realises that it could remain exciting until the last GP. "I actually think that it will continue on the same footing as in the past races: that it will therefore remain very close to each other and that hopefully we can have nice fights."
