Verstappen expects Hamilton behind him: "Have been fast all weekend"

Max Verstappen can be satisfied with a second-place on the grid for the Turkish Grand Prix. Red Bull Racing have been searching for the right set-up all weekend, and according to the Dutchman they still haven't found it.
"“I think today was a little bit better, but we never really seemed to nail the balance all weekend", he tells Formula1.com. "We just couldn’t get it to work like we wanted to. Today was definitely a little bit better, but we’re still behind Mercedes and that’s not what we want."

He continued: "We tried everything, so we just need to understand what we could’ve done better. Of course, now we can’t change the car anymore and we’ll see tomorrow what we can do."
The Red Bull driver doesn't expect to be able to do much against Mercedes, and therefore takes into account that he will see Lewis Hamilton appear in his mirrors at some point. "They’ve had a lot of pace the whole weekend, so I definitely expect him to be behind me at some point," Verstappen concluded.
