Hamilton can't get past Verstappen: 'Mistake in the last lap'

Overtaking in Austin
The 2021 American Grand Prix was a nail biter. It was exciting until the last corner of the final lap. Verstappen started from pole, lost his lead at the start, but took it back with an undercut. Hamilton chased Verstappen on fresher tyres, but couldn't get past him.
''I think on this track, it's difficult to past. You need a big delta of being faster than the other car to go by," said the driver who miraculously returned to motor racing after his crash at Spa-Francorchamps.
Hamilton's mistake
Hamilton, however, failed to get past Verstappen for the win at the end of the race. ''The dirty air is very tough, especially pushing trying to catch the car. He tried to save tyres for the end, but made a little mistake in the middle sector," he added.
