Norris is coming: 'He's on the level of Verstappen and Hamilton'

Lando Norris showed this season that he is a driver to be reckoned with in the years to come. Especially in the first half of the Formula 1 year he managed to give Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton a hard time. According to Zak Brown that is no coincidence.
Indeed, the McLaren team boss believes that the level difference between Norris and the two best drivers in the world championship is not great. According to Brown Hamilton and Verstappen are only on top because of the car they drive.
"Lando first came on my radar in 2014. I think he can be counted among the best drivers now," Brown said in an interview with De Telegraaf. "He's on the level of Verstappen and Hamilton. Maybe not in terms of experience, but definitely in terms of speed."
New regulations positive for McLaren
This year McLaren seems to have a good chance to compete for the front positions. Changes to the regulations should bring the teams closer together in 2022. "The playing field has to be level. And then may the best team win. How many players does a football team have? Okay, eleven. Then you don't want the opponent to have three extra men either."
