The Mexican Grand Prix has, just like two weeks ago, created an alternative schedule. Due to the time difference of seven hours all sessions for the European viewers will start in the evening. This means that qualifying will also take place later than usual.

Before the start of qualifying, the third free practice will be held. This practice starts on Saturday evening at 17:00. After the third free practice, the teams will get ready for the qualifying for the GP of Mexico.

When does qualifying start?

The qualifying session for the Mexican Grand Prix starts at 20:00. Looking back at the results of the first free practice sessions, it seems as if Max Verstappen has the best chances to get pole position. Verstappen finished the first free practice behind Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton, but in the second free practice the Dutchman was too fast for them. He was almost half a second faster than Mercedes drivers.
