Verstappen takes Mercedes into account: 'You never know what they will do'.

In the broadcast of Formula 1 Café from Ziggo Sport Max Verstappen looks back on Friday. The Dutchman was the fastest in FP2 beat Mercedes by half a second. Verstappen sounds satisfied with the practice sessions.
"Overall pretty good feeling in the car. In FP2 we adjusted things to the car and they were a bit better." Is the medium tyre the right tyre for Q2? "It didn't look wrong in any case. We are quite a bit faster than the teams behind us and hopefully it will be the same tomorrow," the Red Bull driver told us.
The air in Mexico is a lot thinner. "There's less grip. The middle sector has a nice flow, but the rest has slow corners and little grip. I don't think it's a problem, as long as the car is going well."
Verstappen focuses on himself
"It does look good today, but you never know what Mercedes will do. I can only speak for myself and I just had a good day so that's always good." Friday went a lot worse in America, but here in Mexico it looks good right from the start. "Yeah, absolutely. Actually a bit the opposite," Verstappen replies.
Olav Mol asks the Dutchman if he would mind if Sunday is a boring race. "In this season I think that's totally fine". Every point is important for Verstappen at this stage in the title fight with Lewis Hamilton.
