Toto Wolff drew a lot of attention with his reactions during and after the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Mercedes team boss showed his most fanatical side during the weekend, especially after the team was fouled with a DRS violation on the rear wing. That frustration all came out in Lewis Hamilton's overtake of Max Verstappen and the victory that followed.

The Austrian seemed to go through an emotional rollercoaster in Brazil and went completely crazy, both from joy and anger and frustration. The team boss is logically happy with Hamilton's unexpected victory, but remains angry that Verstappen was not punished for an incident with Hamilton during the race.

Wolff outraged by Verstappen's lack of punishment

"That was a really wrong action by Max who absolutely went over the limit, but he had to do that to defend. Lewis did it even more brilliantly by avoiding the contact and ending the race that way," Wolff applauds his star driver.

Speaking to French Canal+, he explains the gesture he made towards the camera when Hamilton made his winning overtaking manoeuvre. "My reaction was meant for the race director [Michael Masi]. Max should have had at least a five-second penalty for that and he probably knew that himself," roars the Mercedes team boss.

"That that is just swept under the carpet is just the tip of the iceberg. It's just laughable," said an outraged Toto Wolff.
