Internet reacts to Qatar GP: "Verstappen is Mr. Consistent at his best"
- GPblog.com
The Qatar Grand Prix made for a much talked about weekend. Once again, the battle between Red Bull Racing and Mercedes was partially fought out in the stewards' office, but ultimately it did little to change the final outcome of the race. The Surprise of the day was Fernando Alonso, who secured a podium finish for the first time since 2014.
Good atmosphere between Verstappen and Alonso
In the internet reactions, there was a lot of attention for the Spaniard's performance, which many people praise him for. The positive energy between Alonso and Max Verstappen, with whom he shared the podium for the first time, was also notable.
Another striking fact is the consistant factor that Verstappen is throughout the 2021 season. The Dutchman finished first or second in every race he did, with the exception of the Hungarian Grand Prix. There he was eliminated at the start by Valtteri Bottas.

Happy with P2 and the fastest lap Despite a really good start, the win was out of reach, but we maximized our race result. Thanks to a good strategy, we scored 19 points today. We will keep fighting to the end #QatarGP pic.twitter.com/YnCL44O50x
