Formula 1 will continue to race on the Catalunya circuit until 2026. This has been confirmed by the organisation of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Spanish Grand Prix to stay in Barcelona

The Spanish Grand Prix has been on the Formula 1 calendar continuously since 1986. Since 1991, the race has been held at the Circuit de Catalunya, where winter tests are also regularly held. This will remain the case in the coming years with the new contract for the circuit and the organiser.

In a press release from Formula 1, it has been announced that the Spanish GP will remain on the F1 calendar until 2026 and that the race will also be held at the circuit in Barcelona. As part of the new deal, updated facilities are being worked on for the next Grand Prix in 2022.
